其中應(yīng)該根據(jù)公路等級(jí)、氣候條件、路面類(lèi)型、交通量大小的不同而選擇。夏季高溫、高速、重載、長(zhǎng)坡路面應(yīng)該選擇粘度大的瀝青，反之，氣候寒冷、交通量小則可選用粘度小的瀝青。

礦粉對(duì)瀝青混合料的骨料膠結(jié)起著重要作用，并非單純的填充作用，在相同的瀝青用量下，礦料的表面積越大，形成的瀝青膜越薄，結(jié)構(gòu)瀝青比重越大，瀝青混合料粘聚力越強(qiáng)。礦粉須是石灰?guī)r或者巖漿巖中強(qiáng)基性巖石磨碎后的礦粉，加工前要保證原石料的粘土被清除，注意保存時(shí)要注意防水、防潮。

其中改性瀝青拌合溫度宜比普通瀝青混合料拌合溫度要提高10～20℃，改性瀝青混合料在貯存過(guò)程中溫降應(yīng)小于10℃，集料的溫度應(yīng)該比瀝青溫度高10～30℃，儲(chǔ)料在儲(chǔ)料倉(cāng)時(shí)間不得超過(guò)72小時(shí)。
